There Is A Fountain
Here’s a song that is 241 years old. Not exactly contemporary, is it? Yet the message never grows old! There’s something about a fountain, though. To enjoy its full benefit, one has to approach it in the correct manner. Since water flows downward, then the correct approach would be to put oneself lower than the fountain.
Call it humility.
“The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble
and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts.” (Isaiah 57:15 NLT)“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” (1 Peter 5:6 NLT)
“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” (Luke 14:11 NLT)
“My hands have made both heaven and earth; they and everything in them are mine. I, the Lord , have spoken! “I will bless those who have humble and contrite hearts, who tremble at my word.” (Isaiah 66:2 NLT)
There is a fountain filled with blood,
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins,
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains. The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in His day;
And there have I, though vile as he,
Washed all my sins away.Dear dying Lamb, Thy precious blood
Shall never lose its pow’r,
Till all the ransomed church of God
Are safe, to sin no more.E’er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,
And shall be till I die. When this poor, lisping, stamm’ring tongue
Lies silent in the grave,
Then in a nobler, sweeter song,
I’ll sing Thy pow’r to save.Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too. You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though He was God, He did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, He gave up His divine privileges; He took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When He appeared in human form, He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honor and gave Him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:3-11 NLT)

Worship Amidst Trials
“After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here am I.” He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar. Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.”(Genesis 22:1-5 ESV)Whenever the Lord initiates a test, there’s always much more going on than meets the natural eye. But even knowing that doesn’t make those times any easier.
Abraham was asked to do the unthinkable. Forget, for just a moment, that the test involved killing his own son. Instead, think of it as God telling Abraham to kill a promise, a dream; the future God had given him. Does that make it any easier to wrap your brain around?
See how Abraham embraced this test. When given the instructions to go and kill the dream Abraham called it “worship”. Interesting? Sacrificing a God-given dream, an almost mature dream at that. A dream “old enough to carry the wood for its own altar.” Giving it up on the altar of obedience simply because he was instructed to. Worship.
Do you have any God-given dreams? Are the dreams the object of your worship, or can you worship God with your dreams? This is the fine line between true worship and idolatry. If you can kill your dream, you can worship. if you can’t…
But remember, God is able to raise dead dreams from the grave!
Prayer – Lord, may nothing in my life be so sacred, so precious, it cannot be offered to You in worship. Help me live a life of obedience to Your will, trusting, if need be, Your ability to raise a dead dream to new life. In Jesus’ Name.

Let Us Return To The Lord
This little collection of scriptures is not intended to condemn or make anyone feel heavy-hearted. It’s simply my heart’s cry to a church world that seems quite content to “live for God” without His help. It’s a declaration to everyone of God’s promises to change us and restore us to His original intent, His design; if we will only return to Him with all our heart. “Come, let us return to The Lord.
He has torn us to pieces; now he will heal us.
He has injured us; now he will bandage our wounds.
In just a short time he will restore us, so that we may live in his presence.
Oh, that we might know the Lord !
Let us press on to know him.
He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring.” (Hosea 6:1-3 NLT)“Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong.
Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” (Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT)My wayward children,” says the Lord ,
“come back to me, and I will heal your wayward hearts.”
“Yes, we’re coming,” the people reply,
“for you are the Lord our God.
Our worship of idols on the hills
and our religious orgies on the mountains
are a delusion.
Only in the Lord our God
will Israel ever find salvation.“From childhood we have watched as everything our ancestors worked for – their flocks and herds, their sons and daughters – was squandered on a delusion. Let us now lie down in shame and cover ourselves with dishonor, for we and our ancestors have sinned against the Lord our God. From our childhood to this day we have never obeyed Him.” (Jeremiah 3:22-25 NLT)
O Israel,” says the Lord ,
“if you wanted to return to me, you could.
You could throw away your detestable idols
and stray away no more.
Then when you swear by my name, saying,
‘As surely as the Lord lives,’
you could do so
with truth, justice, and righteousness.
Then you would be a blessing to the nations of the world,
and all people would come and praise my name.”“This is what the Lord says to the people of Judah and Jerusalem:
“Plow up the hard ground of your hearts! Do not waste your good seed among thorns. O people of Judah and Jerusalem, surrender your pride and power. Change your hearts before the Lord , or my anger will burn like an unquenchable fire because of all your sins.” (Jeremiah 4:1-4 NLT)“For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News.” (1 Peter 4:17 NLT)

Time To Trust
“Then he said, “Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there.” He answered, “For the sake of ten I will not destroy it.” And the Lord went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.” (Genesis 18:32-33 ESV)Abraham had spent a considerable amount of time with God, leading up to this pivotal moment. He had entertained the Lord and 2 angels, serving them a huge meal. The Lord had reiterated His promises to the host and hostess regarding their son, who was to be born within a year. Then the Lord confided in Abraham about the mission at Sodom and Gomorrah, allowing him to plead with Him on behalf of the people living in that doomed area. Then God walked away…
Now it was time to simply trust.
Trust? How does one “trust”?
Well, for starters…
Find a chair, any chair, and sit in it.
Okay?
Ask yourself, “how much am I trusting in this chair?”
Did you feel the need to get the chair’s “performance documents” before placing your body in its care? How well do you really know the chair? Have you considered its outlandish promise to support you for as long as you trust, and stay seated?
Next, get up and turn on your television set. Any channel will do.
Done?
Before you pushed the remote button, did you, first, kneel and pray? Did you ask the neighborhood technician to check all the circuits and test all the components before pushing the button? Or did you just expect it to come on?
People exercise trust daily. Many times a day. Common, everyday actions are examples of trust. Driving a car, riding an elevator, flying in an airplane, turning on the kitchen tap…
We trust even though we may not understand how things work. We trust, though our eyes don’t see the answer.
God can be trusted.
Though you may not feel Him near, and life seems to contradict all He has promised,
God can be trusted.
When you’ve done all you can do, said all you know to say, it’s time to trust.
Maybe this is where you find yourself today. You’ve run out of ideas, paced the floor and cried until your voice, your tears, are gone. Though you’d been sensing the Lord’s Presence, now it seems you’re all alone.
It’s time to trust. For though the Lord may “walk away”, He’ll never withdraw His covenantal promises.
It’s time to trust.

Many People In This City
“One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.” So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.” (Acts 18:9-11)The above scriptures refer to when the Apostle Paul and his team were ministering in Corinth. It seems as though Paul had considered leaving the city. Up until the night of the Lord’s visitation, things had been pretty rough for the ministry team. Sure, they’d had witnessed people become believers, but ministry had been difficult.
In fact, Paul even had to work a secular job for awhile.
Just think of the type of people Paul was preaching to: “Don’t you realize that those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves. Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, or are thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people – none of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. Some of you were once like that. But you were cleansed; you were made holy; you were made right with God by calling on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”(1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NLT)
People involved in sexual sins, idolatry, adulterers, prostitution, homosexuality, stealing, greed, etc.; these are people he ministered to.
Sounds an awful lot like today’s society, eh?
Your “average” church goer has no clue the difficulties a minister has to face. “What difficulties? Good night, Irene, the preacher only works one day a week! And that’s only for a few hours. Difficulties, right. What’s so difficult about speaking?”
If it’s so easy, why doesn’t everyone do it?
Just talking to individuals or a congregation isn’t difficult. Giving a generic speech won’t draw the threat of attacks. Lofty, high-minded words won’t challenge the powers of darkness!
But when a man or woman of God determines to set aside the “stage show”, the theatrics, and the “motivational homilies” for a reliance upon Heaven’s Word with the anointing of the Holy Spirit…
…all hell can break loose.
And though the battle blazes around this kind of preacher, this kind of message, this is the way people are set free. This is what delivers them from the power of darkness, from the kingdom of hatred and death.
“Some of you were once like that…”
Most everyone knows some preacher who got involved in some kind of sin, thus disqualifying them, at least for a season, from “ministry.” Boy, howdy; do I know about that! And everyone is quick to point out the character flaws leading to the “fall”.
I’m not making excuses for anyone. I’m simply trying to make 2 points.
1. Preachers, ministers, leaders, need extra prayer covering. They need support, not idolized for their speaking or sermonizing ability.
2. Preachers, etc,,must rely upon the Spirit of God, the protection of God, and the unadulterated Word of God. They must not put their faith in people’s response, or lack of response, tithes and offerings…anything other than what will give them the spiritual strength to deal with a spiritual enemy.
Ministry is difficult, but eternally necessary. And it isn’t just a preacher’s responsibility to bring people into the Kingdom; it’s every believer’s call.
There’s no other way to reach the “many people in this city” belonging to Jesus!
“When I first came to you, dear brothers and sisters, I didn’t use lofty words and impressive wisdom to tell you God’s secret plan. For I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified. I came to you in weakness – timid and trembling. And my message and my preaching were very plain. Rather than using clever and persuasive speeches, I relied only on the power of the Holy Spirit. I did this so you would trust not in human wisdom but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:1-5 NLT)

Bubba the Bulldog
Bubba the Bulldog. Bubba came to live with us at the time our son, Jeremy, was quite young; I believe about 3 years old. Jeremy and I had a lot of fun with ol’ Bubba; telling stories of Bubba’s daring days of do, and watching how Bubba interacted with the rest of Jeremy’s stuffed animals. One of our favorite stories to howl about was one which originated from Bubba’s own fat jowls. We accidentally overheard Bubba telling this story to his friend, Froggo, the bear. The story about how his face came to look like it does.
I’ll try and relate the story to you, as best as I can.
Bubba loved bones! He came from a long line of registered, bone-loving bulldogs. One of his favorite things to do was prance around the neighborhood with a big, old bone hanging out his mouth. You could hear him coming down the sidewalk with the bone bouncing one end off the ground. Clip, clip, bump, clip, clip, bump, as his nails and bone tapped the cement. Clip, clip, bump, clip, clip, bump…
He also had another love, a hobby, actually, an addiction. He loved to chase trucks. Not just any truck, mind you, but garbage trucks! Especially the ones so full they’d leave a trail of garbage everywhere.
One day, however, according to Bubba (whose face “didn’t always look this bad”), he faced a temptation he was not prepared to handle. He was minding his own business, clipping down the sidewalk, clip, clip, bump, clip, clip, bump, when a garbage truck zoomed past him at about 103 miles per hour (per our reliable source). The moment Bubba spotted the garbage bouncing out of the back he took off after it! There was just one, little problem.
He didn’t drop the bone.
To hear Bubba tell the story, it was a sight to behold; a flash of green, with a gray and white blob of color in hot pursuit! Then, just before Bubba was about to claim his prize, the unthinkable happened.
The garbage truck stopped. Abruptly. Without warning (Bubba’s words, not mine).
Without reviewing all of the general laws of physics, let me simply say Bubba’s speed, and his weight, were too much for his legs. He could not get his nails dug into the ground quick enough. Sheer momentum had taken over. Until…
Until the momentum was stopped by the back of the truck.
Funny how that works.
Well, Bubba had no time to react. No, he slammed head first into the back of the truck; bone and all.
It was 4 weeks before you could hear Bubba prancing down the sidewalk, bone in mouth. It took that long to pry the bone out of those fat jowls.
He said he learned his lesson, and further added the Lord had given him a ministry of helping others with garbage truck addictions.
Anyway, time goes on, things change, and little boys grow up.
About 8 or 9 years after Bubba came to live with us, our family decided we’d have a garage sale. The three of us (mom, dad, and Jeremy) all had things we wanted to get rid of.
The day of the sale arrived, and as I looked at Jeremy’s stuff for sale I noticed games, GI Joes, a few other things, and…
BUBBA!
What? Not Bubba!
Bubba was for sale! I couldn’t believe my eyes! Bubba was sitting, with that scowling, fat face, on the bench with a sticker on his foot.
Well, I thought, maybe Jeremy is selling Bubba so he’ll have money for college. Made sense to me until I saw the asking price.
75 cents.
I tried to talk Jeremy out of selling part of our family, but I couldn’t stop him. So I did what any upstanding person in my situation would do.
I bought him.
I mean, how could I allow him to fall into the wrong hands? How could I stand to watch an unknown stranger come and walk away with all the memories we had built? How could I bear looking into those beady, little, tear-filled eyes, as he stared at me from his place on the bench.
I just HAD to redeem him.
So I gave Jeremy 75 cents, and Bubba became mine! Then I released him to be a permanent member of our family. No longer did he need to worry about his place in our hearts. He was family. Regardless of good times or bad times, he was part of us.
Redeemed. Bought, purchased, released from bondage.
Released from the bench.
That’s what God did for mankind, through His Son Jesus. We were all up for grabs by the enemy of our soul. Yet God couldn’t bear to see us eternally separated from His family.
There’s nothing we did, or could do, that forced God to do what He did; nothing at all. We were powerless, all alone on the bench.
Jesus took our place as our Redeemer.
“But now thus says the Lord,
he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1 ESV)Amen.

Be Unique
“…anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NLT)“Belongs to Christ…” Anyone who receives, by faith, Jesus Christ as The Lord of their life becomes a new creation, a new “fabrication”, a “species of being which never before existed.”
Recreated on the inside, in our “spirit man”, the part of our being that is dead, unresponsive, to God without the life only Jesus brings. “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” (John 1:4)
It’s interesting to realize how every new creation can be fashioned into the likeness of Jesus (Romans 8:29), yet each person be so different. Each person, each individual, totally unique.
Our lives can be so monotonous, so mundane, until we discover who we really are as a new creation. Until we embrace our uniqueness and trust The Lord to fit us, differences and all, into His Body.
We are unique, in Him. Individually, we are one of the many facets, variables, which make up His glorious Body. And as individuals walking in the grace of God, we join our unique gifts, callings, and personalities into one “Light of the World” and a “City set upon a hill.”
Quit acting as though your life is nothing special! Allow God the joy of showing you how your unique beauty can be used to reveal a facet of His glory to your world.
You are unique! Be unique, in Him.

Memories and Berdine’s
Remember when you were a kid? Remember how simple things were? And how about the old “Dime Stores”?
When I was young there was a store called “Places”, and it was only three blocks from where I lived. I could’ve hung out there all day if my folks would’ve allowed it. Such a cool place where a kid could find just about anything they could imagine. Model cars, squirt guns, cap guns, balsa wood gliders, army men, marbles, games, dolls; and the list could go on and on. I loved it!
Every year my wife and I travel to West Virginia to visit her family. About 20 miles from her Mom’s house is a town called Harrisville, the County Seat of Ritchie County. Within the town is Berdine’s, America’s oldest five and dime store. It has been around since 1908.
We love to visit the store each time we’re in the area. So much stuff, so many memories. There’s no hurry as we casually meander through the narrow aisles, handling items that trigger memories of a time when life was fun and care free. A time when the burdens of our life were basically non-existent. A period when we felt secure and cared for, and were free to use our imagination.
Memories, good memories, are important to hold onto. They can help us stay calm even during troubling situations.
In Joshua, chapter 4, the Lord instructed Joshua to have 12 men build a Memorial using 12 stones from the Jordan River.
“Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe; and Joshua said to them: “Cross over before the ark of the LORD your God into the midst of the Jordan, and each one of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, “that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ “Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the LORD; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.” (Joshua 4:4-7 NKJV)
The memorial was a place where people could remember the time they felt secure and cared for by God. As they looked upon the memorial stones, the victories of yesteryear would be replayed in their mind and heart. The joy and faith that had sustained them before would rise up in them, reminding each one, “Our God is for us! He has brought us here, and He will bring us through. He will finish what He started! He cares for us.”
Just a little reminder is all we need at times. A little Bible verse, someone’s picture, a bag of marbles, or maybe a little Gumby doll, could be enough to help us not give in or give up.
Here’s an idea that just may help you. Know where your good memories are kept! Store them in a place where you have easy and quick access. A journal, a photograph, a book, whatever you have as a memorial of God’s love and care; keep them handy.
And, whether you need to buy anything, or not, it’s always enjoyable spending a leisurely afternoon reliving the memories of “the good ol’ days”, when you knew Someone cared for you…
…and He still does!

Covenant Wife
Covenant Wife
My wife and I have been married over 40 years. Married when we were 18, we have gone through a lot of storms, and a lot of great times. There was a time, 20 years ago, that we were separated and almost split up for good. Why? I had violated my covenant with the wife of my youth!
“…the Lord was witness between you and the wife of your youth, to whom you have been faithless, though she is your companion and your wife by covenant. Did he not make them one, with a portion of the Spirit in their union? And what was the one God seeking? Godly offspring. So guard yourselves in your spirit, and let none of you be faithless to the wife of your youth.” (Malachi 2:14-15 ESV)
“Wife by covenant…” Covenant Wife.
Covenant. A bond stronger than any contract or civil union. It signifies the complete giving and yielding of everything in a person’s life to someone who does the same with them.
Covenant. The most vulnerable, yet strongest place one can be. My greatest fears can be completely overcome with the love of my covenant partner, my wife.
Covenant. Not a trial run; not a convenience. Joined forever.
Covenant. She trusted me with her innocence, I gave her my rib. We are one with each other.
Covenant. Even before we knew God, He knew us and allowed us to find each other, and then find Him. The three-fold cord that cannot be broken – God, my wife, myself. In covenant.
Covenant? Always happy? No. Always easy? No. Always understood? No!
Covenant. An eternal trust, an eternal commitment. The basis, the foundation, for everything good and godly. The open door welcoming and allowing God to work in jars of clay.
Covenant. As sure as the sun will rise in the morning, so certain is the strength of our covenant.
Marriage is a covenant between a man and a woman. A man and woman who give everything they are, were, or ever will be to the other. Until they melt into one.
Covenant. I am grateful, eternally grateful, for the wife of my youth, middle age, and…
Though we both grow old and don’t look like we did those many years ago, that will not affect our covenant.
Our covenant is forever.
Covenant husband.
Covenant wife.

Why America Is Falling Apart At The Seams
Why America Is Falling Apart At The SeamsI have a strong feeling some people will not agree with my conclusion, my answer to the above statement. Oh well. I’m prepared for that. So for those who disagree slightly, or vehemently, feel free to post your comments.
I believe something I’d rather not believe: The United States of America has seen its best days. I believe the reason lies primarily in two verses: one in Genesis and the other in Galatians.
“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”(Genesis 12:3 ESV)
“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” (Galatians 3:29 ESV)
I DO believe in a final awakening, revival, or whatever you’d like to call it. I believe the Church will see its best, and most fruitful, season very soon. Things are accelerating in the spirit realm. The Holy Spirit is moving among every denomination, every people group, and every nation. Prophetic voices are being raised up to help prepare the saints to do the necessary work of the Kingdom.
Spiritual attacks are on the rise. The enemy isn’t prophetic, as he doesn’t have “revelation knowledge”; after all, he is darkness. I do believe, though, he can witness “troop movement” and get the idea something’s building. So, troubles, snares, and all manner of attacks have been mounted against God’s Army. But hallelujah, the weapons of our warfare are mighty and powerful for recognizing and neutralizing the enemy’s assault!
Yes, the Church’s finest hour is being staged. The God Who orchestrated Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, Jesus’ birth and life of ministry, the gathering in Jerusalem for the Spirit’s Outpouring; that same God is about to manifest Himself to this world in such a way it will separate believers from unbelievers, righteous from religious, and the Kingdom of Light from the kingdom of darkness. Kingdom against kingdom. It will be like an earthquake in the spirit realm. Make certain you are pursuing God. Prepare your hearts to hear His voice. Respond very quickly to His slightest prompts, and join with others for the Glory of God!
We are right at the threshold of the greatest, most intense, spiritual battle man has ever witnessed. My opinion. But it’s also my opinion America has seen its greatest glory and has declined as a world super power. Its borders are vulnerable, its systems corrupt, its wisdom utter foolishness, and America is beyond repair. There is not enough time left “in the day” to raise it back to where it was.
As for the two verses mentioned earlier, the idea is this: as people treat Abraham and his family, that’s how they and their family will be treated. Now people have used the Genesis scripture to circulate the idea God was only referring to Abraham’s family through Jacob, or Israel. And while it certainly pertains to Israel, it actually applies to an even larger group. What group?
The Christians. The Body of Christ. The Church.
Note the Galatians scripture. “If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s…and heirs with Abraham as well as Jesus.”
Think about the cultural, spiritual shift over the last 20-30 years. Society used to use Judeo-Christian principles in establishing and upholding laws. Now days, those values are perceived as outdated and too restrictive for “enlightened” mankind, and more of a nuisance than a help. Every religious group has the privilege and Constitutional right to act in any way and say anything, in the name of diversity. Every group except Christians.
America is saying, loud and clear, “Christians, shut up! We don’t care to hear your worthless chatter any longer. You’re a bunch of hypocrites, anyway!” That is the prevailing spirit of America.
If you’ll study Galatians three, you find God made His promises to Abraham and his seed (descendants). The promises of blessing and cursing applied to Abraham, Abraham’s kids, their kids, AND their SPIRITUAL family!
America has listened to the god of this world for so long, the spirit of antichrist has infiltrated our society, daily pronouncing “curses” on the church. The political system, the laws and enforcement of those laws, and the interpretation of our Constitution have undermined this country’s world influence and eroded the foundation that once made it strong. The world’s system is “anti-Christ” and would like nothing better than to see the church fail. Unfortunately, America has adopted the world’s spirit.
Now the curse of the devil cannot override God’s blessing on His people. For as one sows, they also reap. However, those curses are killing the country.
We continue to pray, as Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (ESV) Our focus in prayer? The leaders, truth, all people to be saved.
So, why is America’s influence fading rapidly? Why is it falling apart at the seams? Because America has chosen to curse the Body of Christ, the Seed of Abraham.
And NO ONE can get by with that for very long!
Agree, disagree? Tell me why, and let’s discuss it. Thanks.
