Why America Is Falling Apart At The Seams

I have a strong feeling some people will not agree with my conclusion, my answer to the above statement. Oh well. I’m prepared for that. So for those who disagree slightly, or vehemently, feel free to post your comments.

I believe something I’d rather not believe: The United States of America has seen its best days. I believe the reason lies primarily in two verses: one in Genesis and the other in Galatians.

“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”(Genesis 12:3 ESV)

“And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise.” (Galatians 3:29 ESV)

I DO believe in a final awakening, revival, or whatever you’d like to call it. I believe the Church will see its best, and most fruitful, season very soon. Things are accelerating in the spirit realm. The Holy Spirit is moving among every denomination, every people group, and every nation. Prophetic voices are being raised up to help prepare the saints to do the necessary work of the Kingdom.

Spiritual attacks are on the rise. The enemy isn’t prophetic, as he doesn’t have “revelation knowledge”; after all, he is darkness. I do believe, though, he can witness “troop movement” and get the idea something’s building. So, troubles, snares, and all manner of attacks have been mounted against God’s Army. But hallelujah, the weapons of our warfare are mighty and powerful for recognizing and neutralizing the enemy’s assault!

Yes, the Church’s finest hour is being staged. The God Who orchestrated Israel’s deliverance from Egypt, Jesus’ birth and life of ministry, the gathering in Jerusalem for the Spirit’s Outpouring; that same God is about to manifest Himself to this world in such a way it will separate believers from unbelievers, righteous from religious, and the Kingdom of Light from the kingdom of darkness. Kingdom against kingdom. It will be like an earthquake in the spirit realm. Make certain you are pursuing God. Prepare your hearts to hear His voice. Respond very quickly to His slightest prompts, and join with others for the Glory of God!

We are right at the threshold of the greatest, most intense, spiritual battle man has ever witnessed. My opinion. But it’s also my opinion America has seen its greatest glory and has declined as a world super power. Its borders are vulnerable, its systems corrupt, its wisdom utter foolishness, and America is beyond repair. There is not enough time left “in the day” to raise it back to where it was.

As for the two verses mentioned earlier, the idea is this: as people treat Abraham and his family, that’s how they and their family will be treated. Now people have used the Genesis scripture to circulate the idea God was only referring to Abraham’s family through Jacob, or Israel. And while it certainly pertains to Israel, it actually applies to an even larger group. What group?

The Christians. The Body of Christ. The Church.

Note the Galatians scripture. “If you are Christ’s, you are Abraham’s…and heirs with Abraham as well as Jesus.”

Think about the cultural, spiritual shift over the last 20-30 years. Society used to use Judeo-Christian principles in establishing and upholding laws. Now days, those values are perceived as outdated and too restrictive for “enlightened” mankind, and more of a nuisance than a help. Every religious group has the privilege and Constitutional right to act in any way and say anything, in the name of diversity. Every group except Christians.

America is saying, loud and clear, “Christians, shut up! We don’t care to hear your worthless chatter any longer. You’re a bunch of hypocrites, anyway!” That is the prevailing spirit of America.

If you’ll study Galatians three, you find God made His promises to Abraham and his seed (descendants). The promises of blessing and cursing applied to Abraham, Abraham’s kids, their kids, AND their SPIRITUAL family!

America has listened to the god of this world for so long, the spirit of antichrist has infiltrated our society, daily pronouncing “curses” on the church. The political system, the laws and enforcement of those laws, and the interpretation of our Constitution have undermined this country’s world influence and eroded the foundation that once made it strong. The world’s system is “anti-Christ” and would like nothing better than to see the church fail. Unfortunately, America has adopted the world’s spirit.

Now the curse of the devil cannot override God’s blessing on His people. For as one sows, they also reap. However, those curses are killing the country.

We continue to pray, as Paul wrote in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (ESV) Our focus in prayer? The leaders, truth, all people to be saved.

So, why is America’s influence fading rapidly? Why is it falling apart at the seams? Because America has chosen to curse the Body of Christ, the Seed of Abraham.

And NO ONE can get by with that for very long!
