Welcome! We are Jan and Phyllis Grace, and we’d love nothing more than to encourage you to live for God and finish well. That’s why we do what we do!
We’ve been married forty three years and live in the central part of the United States; Iowa, to be exact. We love to travel, read, and share the eternal hope we’ve found in Jesus Christ. Since God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we can ask or even think, we allow our imagination to run wild! After all, He is the One Who invited us all to “come boldly to the throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” We encourage you to trust in the Lord, and allow your hope to become anchored in His Goodness.
Throughout these pages you’ll discover challenging, yet encouraging, words to help you on your life’s journey. The blogs we post, the books we write, and the conferences we speak at are all designed to encourage and equip you to finish well. We’re not experts by any means, but we’ve learned some things as we’ve experienced life with all its ups and downs. Married in 1972 (at age 18), we became born again children of God three years later. Since then, we’ve weathered many storms; some which seemed to appear from out of nowhere, and others the result of hidden sin. In fact, in 1993, all hell seemed to break loose in our marriage due to Jan’s addiction to pornography and subsequent adulterous relationship.
But this is where the God of hope intervened and not only delivered Jan from the adversary’s clutches, but also began restoring our marriage. And regardless where you’ve been in life, or where you’re at right now, there is hope for you. God is for you, and so are we.
We usually post 3-4 times per week.
