Light always overcomes darkness. God has caused His light to shine in us, through us, so it is time for us to ARISE AND SHINE! We do not have to fear the darkness – it has to fear us!
When light invades the darkness, one of two things must occur. The darkness will either FLEE or BE CHANGED into light!
Rise up, man and woman of God!
Arise, shine; For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes all around, and see: They all gather together, they come to you; your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side (Isaiah 60:1-4 NKJV)
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever (Daniel 12:3 NKJV)
For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6 NKJV)
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:4-5 NKJV)
…that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world (Philippians 2:15 NKJV)
The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26 NKJV)
Arise and shine as His Glory shines through you!
