Call me an Alien.
Alien: not familiar or like other things you have known
: different from what you are used to
: from another country
: too different from something to be acceptable or suitable
Yes, indeed. I am an alien.
No, not the Roswell, New Mexico, Area 51 version of alien. Nor the kind that you’d see on the old Quinn Martin show, “The Invaders.” My pinkie finger is not deformed, and I have never seen the inside of a glowing spaceship.
I did see one back in 1972 flying over the Colorado Springs area…
Aliens speak a different language, and the source of their intelligence is not of this world.
Aliens don’t worry about the future, nor the past.
Aliens have a power source that would make Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon green with envy.
They have such wisdom and knowledge available even Mr. Spock can’t compete.
I wasn’t always an alien. It happened in August of 1975, just before my 21st birthday. I was changed into someone from another world. I can’t tell you exactly how it happened. I mean, I didn’t step into a flying saucer or time machine.
Actually, I was inside some kind of vehicle. It was long and sort of cylindrical; gray, noisy, and stinky. A uniformed person was operating the machine like a real pro.
A real, live, professional Greyhound Bus driver.
And right there on that bus, while traveling from Columbus, Ohio to Louisville, Kentucky, I was changed into an alien.
Those around me didn’t notice the change immediately. But aliens can’t hide forever. Eventually the truth must come out.
And one needn’t be an architect named David Vincent to spot them.
Aliens don’t belong on this planet. They’re only here for a visit, and a mission.
Yes, the truth is, I am an alien.
Are you? If so, are you acting like one?
“But you are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God’s OWN POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were NOT A PEOPLE, but now you are THE PEOPLE OF GOD; you had NOT RECEIVED MERCY, but now you have RECEIVED MERCY.
“Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.” (1 Peter 2:9-11 NASB)
