My Healing Resolution

I have come to realize I have been more lazy than diligent where faith for healing is concerned.

So it’s time for action.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). The kind of action God is calling me to is believing Him above all else. Every pain, every symptom, every thought; he is above each and every one.

And since “all things are possible to him who believes”, and “faith comes by continually hearing the word of God”, here is my Healing Resolution.

Maybe it could help you, as well.

My Healing Resolution

WHEREAS, “He hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:4 – 53:6 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “…they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses” (Matthew 8:14 – 8:17 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 KJV); and

WHEREAS, The Lord said, “…If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.” (Exodus 15:26 KJV); and

WHEREAS, He further stated, “And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfill.” (Exodus 23:25 – 23:26 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “…the LORD will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.” (Deuteronomy 7:15 KJV); and

WHEREAS, He “forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s” (Psalm 103:1 – 103:5 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions” (Psalm 107:20 KJV); and

WHEREAS, His words “are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” (Proverbs 4:20 – 4:23 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” (Proverbs 16:24 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.” (Habakkuk 3:17 – 3:19 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me” (Psalm 30:2 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever” (Psalm 30:11 – 30:12 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death” (Psalm 68:19 – 68:20 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “When he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened” (Matthew 9:27 – 9:30 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel”(Matthew 15:30 – 15:31 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Jesus said…’If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth’” (Mark 9:23 KJV); and

WHEREAS, Jesus said, “That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith…. What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:23 – 11:24 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:15 – 16:18 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him” (Acts 10:38 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “By the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one” (Acts 5:12 – 5:16 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them. And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed. And there was great joy in that city” (Acts 8:5 – 8:8 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately” (Acts 9:34 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “There sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked” (Acts 14:8 – 14:10 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them” (Acts 19:11 – 19:12 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “The prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:14 – 5:16 KJV); and

WHEREAS, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8 KJV); therefore be it

RESOLVED, I shall “not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday”
(Psalm 91:5 – 91:6 KJV);
and be it further

RESOLVED, “I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me” (Micah 7:7 KJV); and, “No weapon that is formed against (me) shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against (me) in judgment (I) shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and (my) righteousness is of God…” (Isaiah 54:17 KJV); and, “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16 KJV); and be it further

RESOLVED, “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD”(Psalm 118:17 KJV); and, since I have “the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” (2 Corinthians 4:13 KJV); and be it finally

RESOLVED, “What things soever (I) desire, when (I) pray, (I) believe that (I) receive them, and (I) shall have them” (Mark 11:24 KJV). I believe Jesus is my healer; the one who has taken sickness and disease from my midst. I believe he bore my sickness and carried away my disease as he was nailed to the cross in my stead.

I declare with my mouth, what I believe in my heart, Jesus Christ is Lord over my spirit, soul, and body.

Amen.

  1. As Bob and my doctor told me after he called Bob to heaven, “Bob was healed then…he got his memory back. Her on earth he had Alzheiers. What I have is no cure, but there is in heaven. Healing comes in different ways at different times. I belong to God and am his child. He will care for me.
